Position Summary
- Reporting to the Senior IT Application Director, the Salesforce Solution Architect leads a small global team to build and support business solutions on Salesforce.com.
Job Duties
- Lead a global team throughout the design, development, launch, and support of Salesforce.comsolutions.
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders to drive the development of refined business requirements.
- Offer up creative ideas to help meet the business requirements, reducing the number of customizations and increasing automation.
- Architect and document design of Salesforce solutions.
- Transition solution designs to development resources responsible for building the solutions.
- Work with business and IT leaders to educate users on using Salesforce.com.
- Provide technical expertise with Salesforce.
- Provide industry experiences to help improve Salesforce solutions.
- Help to resolve, mitigate issues, and risks as they arise.
Required Skills & Experience
- BA/BS degree in IT, Business, Computer Science or Engineering – or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience with strong technical and functional expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Force.com.
- Strong expertise in Lightning/Communities, APEX class / java coding, custom coding, Process Builder, Triggers, Visualforce, Workflows, CSS, HTML, Templates and Web Services.
- Experience with business process definition, best practices, and reengineering
- Experience writing user stories to capture Salesforce requirements
- Experience with data migrations from third party systems to Salesforce
- Experience designing or building Salesforce integrations with 3rd party applications
- Understanding of key concepts of user centered design and design thinking
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proven leadership skills demonstrating strong judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Experience mentoring and coaching others
- Desire to learn new things
- Great teamwork and collaboration skills
- Travel may required
