Job Position: : Java Lead

Houston, TX

6+months contract

Remote option available

Need purely Java lead not devops (Need 10+years)

 

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in computer science or related field.
• 10+ years of development experience, with a strong proficiency in Java.
• Exposure to the following technologies: Java, JEE6, REST (JAX-RS), SOAP (JAX-WS), IoC (CDI), JPA (Hibernate), JDBC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Maven, JUnit (or related framework such as TestNG)
• Exposure to SQL databases (preferably Oracle).
• Exposure to No-SQL databases (preferably Elastic Search). Also "Errai".
• Exposure to Ansible (preferred) or related configuration management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux or UNIX.
• Experience with SVN or equivalent source control system.
• Exposure to GIS and mapping systems (ESRI) an asset.
• Experience with seismic data and the PPDM data model is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
