Position: IT Security Specialist

Location: NJ

Information Security Analyst 3 with a bachelors degree and 6+years experience in the field of Information Technology and Information Systems Security required.This position will operate a suite of security software in state and DHS environment

· Mobile Device Management – Airwatch 

Primary job tasks include administration and configuration of a suite of security tools, including but not limited to:  IBM AppScan Enterprise version 9.0.3.8; Rapid 7 Nexpose version 6.5.29; McAfee ePO version  5.3.2 156 (VSE, HIPS, Drive Encryption & MOVE); McAfee Intrusion Detection/Prevention System version 8.3.7.56.1; McAfee Security Incident & Event Manager (ELM, Receiver, ACE); Forcepoint Web Content Filtering; and Airwatch Mobile Device Management version 9; McAfee Email Gateway and Proofpoint mail filtering. 

This position will work as a contractual member of the DHS Cyber Incident Response Team.  The consultant will troubleshoot across complex enterprise applications, server and endpoint environments to mitigate threats. 

This position will collaborate with other IT units, research and implement new technologies, and provide end to end support to enterprise counterparts, identifying root cause of complex enterprise initiatives.  As a team member, will support on the roll out of security agent deployments on different platforms, including Windows operating systems (workstation and server), and help customize the GPO for OS builds.  Knowledge of network architecture protocols and NIST security standards are required. Candidate must demonstrate a firm understanding and knowledge of Windows Registry, Active Directory and Group Policy.  Basic experience with ITIL processes such as Incident/Problem/Configuration/Change management is required.
