Position: .NET Developer III
Location: Chicago, IL/Houston TX
Duration: Long term.
Locals need for Inperson Interview
Description:
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use
• Use Microsoft .NET Framework and a supported programming language (e.g., VB.NET, Visual C#)
• Serve as technical expert on development projects
• Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation
• Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed
• Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements
• Consult with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs
Project Specifics:
• Project - Cobrand Targeting Platform
• The project consists of a major platform change within the Currency Bank. The client will be transitioning the platform from an IBM mainframe to a Java based product
• An outside vendor built the platform and manages the Java development piece
• The client built an additional interface on top of the platform. The individuals will be responsible for development and management of the secondary layer, which is .Net
• This opening is backfilling an FTE that transitioned to another team within the organization
• The position will be 100% coding and development
Required Skills:
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a .Net role
• Bachelor's Degree in a technology field
• Experience with .NET, C#, jQuery required
• Experience with WebServices is a must
• Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Experience with UI interfacing
• Experience with API's
