Job Description:
Infrastructure Experience (Preferred):
• Experience in mergers and acquisition (M&A) conversion projects which
include creating user AD accounts, converting email and phone services,
integrating local networking services into the corporate network, deploying
user and shared computer equipment, migrating data center applications and
services to the corporate data center, etc. Also, coordinate user training
and enhance onboarding/offboarding processes. • Experience in
infrastructure equipment projects such as installs for data circuits,
networking equipment, and wireless/cabling. Also, assist with coordinating
IT equipment refreshes (PCs, phones, access points, network equipment,
etc.).
Project Management:
Ongoing Management: • Follows project managmement diciplines including
scope, schedule, cost, quality, human resources, communications,
issues/risks, and procurement management with assigned projects. • Builds
strong relationships with business sponsors and stakeholders. • Conducts
initial project cost estimates through soliciting input and effort
estimates from other Project Delivery Team Members. • Identifies roles
required for the Project. (PFG, HCL, Contract). • Follows the PMO
methodology and document standards. • Executes the Innotas tool to manage
project portfolio.
Scope Management: • Manages projects to meet the business goals and
objectives through controlling project scope, cost and schedule. • Works
with Business Systems Analysts and Sponsors to manage and negotiate scope
as needed. • Creates, amends, controls and maintains the Project Charters
and Scope definition. • Acquires all required approvals for Project
deliverable documents. • Ensures proper scope change control is applied to
all assigned projects including obtaining Sponsor, Stakeholder and IT
approvals. Schedule Management: • Creates and manages realistic and
accurate Work Breakdown Structure, project schedules, timelines and
milestones. This includes detail activity/task definition, task sequencing
and dependencies and pre-requisites, effort estimation for all
resource/role requirements. • Executes proper project and schedule change
control on all assigned projects. • Creates the project status for all
assigned projects on a weekly basis. • Manages project action items.
Resource Management: • Identifies project resource effort, skills and
abilities required for all assigned projects. • Works with the Service
Delivery Managers to acquire project resource allocation plan. • Ensures
the project resources have the proper assignment and expectations required
to meet project scope, schedule and budget. • Identifies and manages
conflicts in resource assignments and facilitates communication for proper
resolution. • Creates project org charts and understands and communicates
proper project reporting procedures.
Cost Management: • Creates and manages project cost estimates, budgets and
cost baselines for their projects (+/- 10%). • Provides planned versus
actual projects costs updates during/after project life cycle. • Ensures
project time has been entered appropriately for all project resources on a
weekly basis.
Risk Management: • Identifies, and manages and/or mitigates risks on all
assigned projects. • Works with the project team to develop contingency
plans. • Manages escalation of risks to appropriate members that pose
significant impact to project milestones, deliverables, aspects of quality,
resources or costs. • Contributes ideas or raises issues related to overall
Project.
Compliance: • Assures compliance with IT policies process and procedures
related to project management, SDLC, and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) for all
assigned projects.
Standards and Guidelines: • Proivdes input into and participates in
creation, management and implementation of enterprise project delivery
policies, PM processes and procedures, SDLC processes and procedures, and
project delivery tools and tracking mechanisms.
