Workday TechnoFunctionalNew JerseyLong Term This role will be a technical lead position with day-to-day thought leadership and mentoring of a global team. The individual will also work with cross-functional teams to address system, interface, data, and vendor issues.This position will be supporting clients in the decision-making cycle by coaching/counseling on best practices and discussing with them the related trade-offs.   Expert in agile software development methodologies and their adoption within teams.Understanding of MW platforms like Informatica is a big plus.Exposure to Audit controls on integration migrations and HTR process.    Exposure to handling third party vendors in solving integration issues.Extensive experience in change, tenant, and release management process.Excellent communication skills in handling HR Senior client stakeholders for Change approval Board.High presentation Skills in POC to Senior HR functional and IT stakeholders. Exposure in working HR leadership and Implementation partner teams in M&A space.Workday Certification and/or commensurate demonstrated capability in both functional (BP, Reporting, Security, Config) and technical (EIB, PECI, WECI, Studio, Connectors).Excellent communication and organizational skills - able to translate between technical and business group, bring forward a vision or opinion.Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize decisions and tasks effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Have a solid understanding of trade-offs of architectural patterns and comfortable with recommending approaches and associated technology choicesLeads projects with significant business implications, participates in planning and priority estimates, and advises other HR systems resource; executes with limited guidance.Leads development of integrated HR solutions to ensure specifications are flexible, scalable, and maintainable and meet architectural standard.Supports component integration testing (CIT) scenarios, systems integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) for large, complex, cross-functional application initiatives by providing insight to testing teams to ensure the appropriate depth of test coverage.Communicates changes in software architecture and coaches others to apply this understanding to Data or Platform solutions; resolves escalated issues.Solves complex cross-functional architecture/design and business problems; solutions are extensible; works to simplify, optimize, remove bottlenecks, etc.Serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of HR systems by leveraging partnerships with technology teams and business leaders to resolve escalated issue.Drives the adoption of the HR product supported by researching innovative technical trends and developments.Participates in developing solution strategies and roadmaps within a specific domain.Monitor’s systems performance and continuously creates improvement recommendations.Research, design, and schedule standardized reports; or creates ad hoc reports or data queries utilizing appropriate tools and systems.Mentors and advises others in all HR system development lifecycle phases by applying and sharing an in-depth understanding of company and industry methodologies, policies, standards, and controls.Handling Global command center calls will all teams on escalations for critical enterprise systems.Exposure to remote process automation for process improvements and value add initiatives.Experience in handling performance enhancement for integrations to process very large and complex global organizations.   Working with Delivery teams on overall agenda for the account and providing release and value add information for AMS leadership. Experience in working with Global support functions on streamlining support process and addressing the spikes in casesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.10 years’ experience in Enterprise Resource Planning software; experience in maintenance, enhancement and project initiatives related to a specific domain; ability to convert IT terminology to business case terms; experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC); experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions; experience leading teams, with or without direct reports.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.4 years’ experience working for a large organization and/or global retailer or Workday Implementation vendor.
