About the Role
The Security Testing Assessment and Risk team has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a talented, enthusiastic team member to assist us in providing data analytics and developing a real-time risk and control monitoring dashboard. The Data Engineer and Analytics Analyst will support the team under the Office of the Technology Operation Risk and assist in delivering key monitoring initiatives. In addition, this individual will evaluate and automate manual processes and integrate key data points into our monitoring platforms. This position requires strong collaboration skills and knowledge of information security technologies and practices, risk assessment, and data analytics.
Responsibilities:
· In collaboration with end users develop data requirements for monitoring dashboards · Identify and evaluate potential data sources · Evaluate and document the data in terms of Volume, Velocity, Variety, Veracity and Value · Write scripts to extract, transform and automate the data process · Assist stakeholders in defining and documenting requirements and supporting processes to ensure successful delivery of reports and dashboards · Design, test, and deploy reports and dashboards · Follow the company's Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) policies · Create a Software and Process Design Documents · Project management the development using tools such as JIRA |
Requirements:
· At least 3 years of Python or Powershell or other development scripting languages
· Strong SQL Skills
· Proficient with at least one object-oriented language and application architecture
· Experience with setting-up AWS services such as S3, Athena, DynamoDB, QuickSight
· Experience with developing AWS Lambda functions
· At least 3 years of experience with Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView, SAP Lumira, or other data visualization tools
· At least 3 years of experience working with infrastructure teams and engineers
Preferred:
· Experience with risk assessment
· Knowledge of DevOps tools and concepts
· Adaptable to learning new technologies and working in a challenging environment
· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with limited direction where the individual actively defines process improvements, champions, and drives change while balancing multiple and competing priorities
· Strong communication and organization skills
· Lean Six Sigma certification or Project Management experience
