Role : DevOps Lead
Location : Tyson, VA
Duration : Long Term
JD : 
Strong understanding of DevOps concepts and experience deploying/migrating to cloud environments.
Strong understanding of Java Frameworks and associated runtime environments.
Strong scripting skills (Python and shell scripting knowledge is must).
Strong understanding of HTML-5, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, XML, JSON and RESTful Web Services.
Strong understanding of web servers and the web application hosting runtime.
Strong understanding of administering Linux and Windows Servers.
Strong conceptualization, problem-solving, and analytical skills at a system design level.
Understanding of PaaS and IaaS services such as Cloud Services, IaaS VMs, etc.
Understanding of Configuration Items and logical data modeling.
Understanding and use of DevOps for source control and associated build/release pipelines.
Experience in using Teamcity and Jenkins as automation server for administering CICD pipelines.
Understanding of infrastructure as code and practical application to virtualized infrastructure (logical compute, storage and network).
Understanding of infrastructure concepts related to Hosting, Networks, IP Address Management, Firewalls, Certificates, Load Balancing and Reverse Proxy.
Familiarity with Active Directory, ADFS, SSO, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth.
Experience with JEE Application Servers and Containers (administration, deployment, and/or development in Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Spring, etc.)
Strong understanding of API proxies and experience in using Apigee for API management.
Ability to communicate effectively with business executives, technical teams, and end-users.
