Good understanding of data that is used in application systems.· able to interact and communicate at ease with the Business community, IT personnel like Database Administrators, Data Architects, Data Stewards etc.-
able to understand data quality rules, interpret and work with them.
Should be able to create new ones.· Should be familiar with Data Profiling and other techniques used in Data Quality.·
General high-level understanding of ETL processes, Data modelling and Database structures.·
Given a business issue occurring due to bad data, should have skills to back trace and get to the root cause of the data quality issue.·
Must be technically savvy to use multiple new tools and navigate with minimum orientation.·
Must have good spoken and written communication skills
