Qualifications.

Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 10 years of SAP Analytics/Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse (BI/ BW) experience leading and delivering full life cycle implementations
Minimum 10 years of data warehousing and database concepts experience
Functional knowledge of SAP BW, Analysis for Office, Webi, HANA Studio, understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) delivering functionality on time, on budget and to meet business needs, experience in the development, implementation, and management of an SAP Business Intelligence Architecture strategy and roadmap
Technical knowledge of SAPBW4Hana, BW Modeling Tools, Hana Studio, and Legacy BW Tool sets (Bex Tools)
Demonstrating intimate-level knowledge and success with the SAP product suite leading or assisting with technical development efforts
ETL and performance tuning experience, including extensive ABAP coding of transformations and SLT implementations
Experience in process reengineering, designing, and implementing SAP Analytics architecture, data modeling and the design and development

Responsibilities

As a key member of the Business Warehouse team, the SAP BW Architect / BW Team Lead will work with a team of problem solvers to help to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution related to SAP Analytics & Reporting Applications
As an architect/team lead he/she should be able to lead blueprinting sessions and design sessions independently
Day to Day responsibilities include Managing existing production BW systems by liaising with the Business teams and the analytics team to solve analytics related problems
Participate in customer development by identifying new opportunities and assisting in proposal development as well as contribute thought leadership to the development and evolution of our Data Management / Analytics methodologies
Design and develop best practices to optimize the BW platform (Extractors, Cubes, Queries, Info objects, etc.)
Design, Configure and oversee the journey to SAPBW4Hana
Build trust with teams and stakeholders through open and honest communication
Advise stakeholders on relevant technical issues in an effective and constructive manner
Provide training to end users on using standard functionalities of SAP BW4hana & BW Modeling tools
