Required Skills:
Excellent hands-on experience on the following technologies:
Routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
LAN Switching – VLAN, VTP, STP, Ether Channel, QoS
WAN – MPLS, MPLS/VPN, MP-BGP, IP Sec VPN, DMVPN
TCP/IP protocol suite, Quality of Service, Traffic policing and shaping.
Application protocols - HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SMTP, SNMP, SSL etc.
Network Security - IPsec VPN, AAA Architecture, TACACS+, RADIUS, Cisco ISE
Data Center Architecture – Network, Server, Storage
Load Balancer - NetScaler
 
Excellent hands-on experience on the following products:
Cisco Catalyst 9300 and other Catalyst Series switches
Cisco Nexus 9K/7K/5K/2K Series of switches
Cisco Routers 4300, 3800, 3900, 7600 Series
Cisco IOS Software, NXOS
Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco 9800 Series
Application Load balancers – Netscaler
Network Management – Solar Winds, ORION
CISCO Prime and Cisco Identity Service Engine
 
Responsibilities:
Execute IP Data Network LAN, WAN, Wireless Construction projects for new & existing Infrastructure.
Network SME will lead complex build, refresh projects involving the planning, design, installation, technical support, and network audit of data information technology solutions
Make decisions independently on Information Systems problems and methods.
Projects are carried out independently and new ideas are proposed and implemented for cost reduction and application or infrastructure enhancements.
Mentor junior engineers on networking technologies, standards, methodologies, and procedures.
Lead development, implementation, and maintenance of network standards and documentation.
Coordinate efforts to isolate and resolve network and security related issues.
Participate in IT and corporate-lead initiatives.
 
Should be able to meet project management timelines
Research new technology and evaluate its viability.
Lead the evaluation, testing, selection, and implementation of:
Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN)
Internet Connectivity
Network Management
Diagnostic tool
Excellent ITIL Knowledge – Incident, Change, Configuration, Problem Management
Excellent Problem analysis and resolution skills (RCA)
Experienced in risk /issue management, priority setting and follow up.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be able to clearly communicate with the customer and be able to present solutions to customers.
