Job Descripition:-
. Installation/Upgradation/Migration of SQL Server 2008\2008R2\2012\2014\16\19.
. Apply any patches or service packs for SQL Servers.
. Configure High Availability/Disaster recovery solutions including AlwaysOn, Mirroring, Windows clustering(Active/Passive)
. Configure automated alerts to send a mail to team if any issues.
. Work on incidents, change tickets and problem tickets.
. Setup Maintenance plans for Backups, Database integrity check, rebuild index and update statistics and make sure to run all the jobs without any issues.
. Troubleshoot locking issues, including deadlocks, blocking, lock timeouts and fix them.
. SQL replication setup, monitoring & troubleshooting 
. Handle database object deployment to Integration, QA, UAT, and Production.
. Responsible for physical database architecture and design, capacity planning, development, performance tuning, implementation, and support of the applications from a database perspective.
. Attend CAB (Change Advisory Board) meeting and get proper approvals from product owners to implement DB changes.
. Document operational or newly engineered solutions properly to educate and inform the clients and DBAs from the various levels of the organization.
. Work on Writing custom stored procedures, t-sql queries, PowerShell scripts, views, and triggers based on requirements for DB maintenance and automate tasks.
. Work on writing technical and RCA(Root Cause Analysis) documentation.
. Join bridge calls to troubleshoot and fix P1(SEV1) and P2 (SEV2) incidents.
. work on performance tuning like provide suggestions to create indexes and tune stored procedures.
. Troubleshoot recurring problems and fix them permanently.
. Conduct DB DR Drill activity, ensure to bring the DR site online if any outage at Primary site.
