Long Term
 
Primary skills: Avaya L2
Secondary Skills: Nortel L1
Avaya L2 skills preferred
5+ years’ experience in handling Avaya & Nortel Communication Infrastructure including Media Servers, Modular Messaging, CMS, Media Gateways etc.
8+ years of total Network Voice experience required, preferably Legacy
Previous onsite experience preferred
Understanding of the following product categories: SIP Proxy Server, Session, Border Controller
Protocol experience including H.323, MEGACO, MGCP, SIP
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and implementing PBX features, Call Center Feature
Skills on Voice administration, Voice Mail, ISDN PRI's, VoIP, TDM etc
Basic knowledge of Firewalls, QoS, NAT, VLAN, DNS, routing, IP addressing
Familiarity with basic Networking like router, switches
Experience with call recording technology preferred.
Avaya ACSA, ACSS Certifications preferred, Nortel.
Problem & Incident Management experience
