Title:Sr. Sitecore Fullstack Developer

• Second choice = Mid Sitecore Fullstack Developer What need is the new developer going to fill? What is their purpose? 
• We need to be able to take on more work. 
• More hands on deck! 
• Would be nice to have a frontend developer, BUT it’s more important to have fullstack because we don’t split out frontend work specifically and need someone who can be flexible to “do it all.” 
• This person will be a fullstack developer like our current developers (Jon, Ty, and Aleris). What are the “selling points” of our team? 
• We are flexible. 
• We gather feedback all the time and are improvement-focused. 
• We are the face of Renewal by Andersen! When a customer looks for our windows, we are the first thing they see. We get to make a big impact in this way! 
• Our website is a multi-million-dollar revenue generating source. 
• The website is the most important tool in generating leads and making the company profitable. 
• We are a small and nimble team. What is the current composition of our team? 
• We are a Scrum Team, so we have: o 1 Scrum Master o 2 Product Owners (we have a Renewal Product Owner and an enterprise Product Owner to connect us to the other Sitecore team for Andersen Windows) o 1 Business Analyst o 3 Sitecore Fullstack Developers What are other things to note about our team? 
• We support the Renewal by Andersen corporate website, the Talent Acquisition website, and an enewsletter website. All are hosted in Sitecore. 
• Our main stakeholder is the Marketing team. 
• Our team is very “high visibility” throughout the organization. 
• We organize our work within Jira. What projects will the new developer participate in? 
• New product launch 
• Converting to headless CMS 
• Site UX refresh/rebuild 
• Eventually standing up a consumer app What are the top 3 technical skills we’re looking for? 
1. Sitecore
a. Minimum 1 year, but ideally ~5 years+ 
b. Would be ideal if their current or most recent project was Sitecore-based 
c. Ideal to have a certificate, but it’s not required. 
d. It’s understood that anyone with Sitecore will also be strong in .NET and C#. 
2. JavaScript and CSS 
a. Enough to be independent without a ton of hand-holding 3. Azure What are additional technical skills that would be helpful? 
• Application Monitoring experience 
• SQL experience What are “nice to have” skills or experiences that would be a decision-maker between two similar candidates? 
• ADA Compliance experience 
• Coveo experience 
• Powershell scripting experience (we use this very occasionally on our team) 
• Headless CMS experience What are the main “human” skills/culture-fit qualities we’re looking for? 
• Self-motivated 
• Adaptable 
• Good communicator: o If they have questions, then they will speak up. o They talk through their Jira tickets thoroughly when in meetings like Daily Scrum. o Able to talk with vendors and other business members via email and meetings.
• Willing to learn and experiment 
• Both collaborative and independent o Collaborate on solutioning o Actual development is relatively independent 
• Open to feedback o Through code reviews, etc.
