QA Specialist
We are currently looking for System Validation Engineer as part of the Customer SVI team within the telecom Products & Platforms group of HCL. The role holder will be part of the System Validation team of HCL 5G products.
Roles and Responsibilities:
System testing, load, performance benchmark, failover and burst testing methodologies and tools that certify product’s reliability, performance, and scale. 
Working on products with scalable, distributed architecture – GR/HA environments, functional, regression and system/load tests 
Deep experience in mobility technologies like 4G, DIAMETER and (5G is desirable)  
Working with VMWare, OpenStack design, orchestration and creating VM layouts, deploying VMs, sizing up and sizing down the environment using VCenter and Openstack management consoles  
Technical Skills:
· Hands on experience in Cloud Native, Dockers and Containers
· Understanding of MongoDB, shards  
IP knowledge installation, software upgrade, database backup, log gathering, Data message flow configuration, modification and debugging.   
Solid understanding of DIAMETER call flows – Gx, Rx, Sy, Sd, and LDAP, DHCP  
Experience with Diameter simulators and tools like dsTest Very Good Understanding of 3GPP specifications 
· Experienced in System Acceptance Testing, writing test documents, MOPS (method of procedure).- 3-4+ experience with writing and implementing day-2-day working procedures Additional advantage Skills - Experience with different DB types MySQL, MongoDB. Operating, configuring, installing.
· Experience with advanced configuration of monitoring systems  and monitoring tool (Kibana, Graphana, Graphite, Nagios) at least 1 tool exp
· Experience with network troubleshooting, server hardening, performance tuning, HA Clusters – Mandatory
· Experience with Dev Ops tools (GIT,Jira,Wiki)
· Customer facing experience is a big plus
·  Experience in  Shell scripting
· Participating in requirements and design reviews of new features, bugs, enhancements and backlog.
·  Designing high level test approaches and implementing detailed test plans based on the requirements.
· Analyzing failures and determining root cause, setting the expectations of the solution/behavior based on the requirements.
·  Automating test cases written and execute as part of new feature testing and enabling automate regression runs for subsequent releases.
Non-Technical Skills:
 
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of writing justifications, writing status reports, documenting procedures, and interacting positively with other staff and customer . Ability to work independently under limited direction. Strong team and collaborative skills are needed as wellAble to accurately provide schedule estimates and meet expectations for work commitments
· Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills and ability to work in multiple technical area
