Job Description:
Service Provider will assist Vanguard in building a platform that will take advantage of modern micro-service design and cloud elasticity, using a largely serverless approach with AWS.
Service Provider is providing Victoria Mueller (“Scrum Master”), an experienced AWS serverless engineer, to assist with the design and development of this platform. 
As part of Vanguard’s exciting NWoW transformation and modernization of the call center, 
the Scrum Master role is focused on enabling the Vanguard team to deliver code and software faster, removing impediments, and coaching Vanguard on agile best practices.
Below is the responsibility of the Scrum Master:
Supports the Vanguard team on their understanding of agile and delivery of a product.
Teach the Vanguard team agile practices, facilitate scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield Vanguard team from external distractions.
Help understand each other’s role by bringing the product owner and the Vanguard team together.
A personal coach for Vanguard team members and an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and builds high performing teams.
Description of Deliverables. Service Provider will providing the following Deliverables as part of this SOW.
Service Provider shall manage technology projects or multiple technical workstreams within a broader project or program, develop, implement, and monitor project plans. Service Provider shall contribute expertise to major project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks.
Service provider shall provide insight on best practices and common obstacles based on prior experiences.
Service Provider to serve as a trusted advisor to ensure strategies are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions. 
Service Provider to communicate project status and issues regularly to stakeholders, including leaders, team members, and senior managers.
Service Provider to build and maintain effective relationships by proactively fostering communication between internal and external project stakeholders.
Service Provider shall influence key decisions across stakeholder groups, technology projects and communicate solutions on key issues or projects to proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks and any related issues on management and stakeholders to obtain their input and buy-in as appropriate.
Service Provider shall participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
