Job Description
General Responsibilities
Lead and organize a team of off-shore remote members to support day to day business needs.
Ensuring highly effective and regular written/verbal collaboration between the DocuSign on-shore team and off-shore resource.
Effectively translate and adopt strategic cloud governance needs of the team as cloud adoption is taking place
Ensure proper cloud governance controls are in place supported by strong documentation and automation. No manual efforts should be supported
Manage backlog of requests to provide effective delivery; balancing short term and long term requests with varied priorities
Adhere and enforce support engineers to follow process methodologies such as Kanan or Scrum to ensure clear goals and effective execution of work
Participate in execution of work as necessary to maintain proper SLAs and move business objectives forward balancing short term and long term solutions.
Properly intake cloud requests that vary in size and scope, drive out essential details for effective onboarding, and properly communicate with stakeholders around delivery expectations on an ongoing basis.
Be able to effectively identify requests that are project-based initiatives requiring more planning and coordination not suitable for day-to-day support.
Ensure execution of work is done with proper adherence to security and compliance controls.
Understand ad-hoc requests and drive out reusable automated processes to improve team efficiency and quality.
Engage in, troubleshoot, and resolve issues impacting services in a 24x7 support model in partnership with DOC and service teams.
Effectively escalate issues to level 2 cloud support in a timely manner
Participate in RCA write-ups and Live Site reviews to discuss incidents and opportunities for future fix improvements.
Requirements
4+ years working with Terraform and IaC principals
8+ years working with modern programming languages such as PowerShell, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc...
Familiar with good observability solutions such as Datadog
Strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals (regions, availability sets zones, virtual networking, compute, storage)
Exposure to AWS with strength in Azure
Strong understanding of Agile practices using Kanban or Scrum
Familiarity with work item tracking using tools like JIRA and Confluence
