I am looking for Green cards or Citizens for this need.

 

Position: Cognos Developer

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Duration: 5 months+

Rate: $40/hr on C2C all inclusive

 

Looking for Senior Cognos Developer with the following requirements:

Experience in Cognos reporting experience in a data warehouse environment

Experience with Cognos 8 reporting and modeling (Must have at least 12 months of version 8.1 or newer)

Experience with data warehousing life cycle and dimensional modeling

In-depth experience with the Cognos 8 Suite: Transformer, Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Event Studio, Metric Studio and Query Studio

Experience with Framework Manager including DMR, setting up hierarchies and performance tuning and optimizing framework environment

Advanced SQL programming experience, must be able to easily write free form SQL

Proficient in data acquisition & analysis

Familiar with Cognos Administration, including installation and configuration

Strong database knowledge of DB2, Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server (2005 or newer), stored procedures and triggers

Writes functional and technical design specification documentation as needed

Experience developing Dashboards and Scorecards

 

Preferred Qualifications:

IBM Cognos version 8 certifications (will be given preference)

Additional Cognos tool knowledge such as using Decision Stream / Data Manager, Metrics Studio, Cognos GO! and Cognos NOW is desirable.

Experience with ERwin and Entity Relationship models

IBM Cognos 8.4 experience
