Role: QA Engineer
Number of Positions: 2
Location: San Jose, CA
Duration: 6 Months
Duties
· QA engineer position but focused on manual website UI testing.
· Executes and develops automated tests
· Tracks and manages defects to resolution
· Provides input to estimates of project resources and timelines
· Works closely with technical and non-technical staff including development and producers
· QA for large projects under broad supervision
Skills
· Use of defect tracking tools, creation and execution of test cases, creation of high level test plans
· Basic QA automation skills
· Minimum of 3 years Quality Assurance experience
· Minimum 1 year experience testing GUI applications
· Demonstrable process and documentation skills Planning / Team Work / Communication
· Thorough understanding of QA lifecycle and test processes
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team following established guidelines
· Excellent problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to review project technical documents and provide input as required
· Highly motivated with strong work ethic Pluses
· Experience working with off-shore teams
· Experience with automated functional and load testing of Web Applications including creation of scripts
Education
B.S. in Computer Science or related experience
