Urgently need: SQL Developer/Immediate Start @ NYC, NY for 3-6 months

Candidates need to be local to the New York City area and be able to start next week.  Please DO NOT send candidates from out of the area or that require a 2 week notice. 

 

Title: SQL Developer

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 3-6 months

 

We need a SQL person to help with SQL/data issues related to a reporting tool upgrade.  This person needs to work with the customer DBA.  He/she needs to determine data issues, quickly determine the solution to the problem and implement the solution depending on the cause of the problem.  The issues are related to SQL.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of SQL Server experience including:

*       SQL Server 2008 running on Intel hardware

*       Microsoft SQL language

*       Writing queries

*       Creating Indexes

*       Creating stored procedures

*       Knowledgeable in performance tuning of this environment

*       Understanding of retail business

*       Data feed is from SAP, so experience with SAP as a data source is a plus.

*       Strong Communication Skills
