Job Description:

 

Recruiting Manager

Location:  Jackson, MI.

(Must relocate to Michigan)

Company is in the Healthcare Industry

(Perm Corporate Position)

- Must be US Citizen, Green Card Holder or EAD

 

Consider this position to lead a small group of recruiters within our highly skilled team who are staffing 80% of the companies' employees for the Michigan territory.

 

In this role, the Recruiting Manager will be responsible for developing and executing recruiting strategies outside the normal process (i.e. Career Builder, LinkedIn, and Job Fairs).

 

Your duties will include:

Developing sourcing strategies targeting cleared technical professionals (active and passive candidates)

• Collaborating with Vice President of Human Resources to forecast staffing needs for new company acquisitions

Managing a small team of full lifecycle recruiters and ensuring their work is structured to provide optimum levels of support to the internal team

• Proactively promoting any employee referral program and create recruiting techniques that support our retention strategies

Planning recruiting events which including job fairs

• Understanding and applying compensation principles in conducting analysis of offers for competitiveness within market and internal equity

Mentoring and providing guidance to recruiting team, to ensure accountability throughout the recruiting process

• Effectively managing internal customer expectations and education of legal hiring practices

Leveraging the use of automated tools to facilitate the hiring process and to ensure legal compliance

Metrics reporting and proactive development of required action plans based on data analysis

 

Must have prior experience in managing at least a small group of recruiters

 

Key Relationships

Reports to: Vice President of Human Resources

Direct Reports: 3 Recruiters

 

Ideal Candidate: is Polished, comes from a corporate recruiting environment, has managed a team of recruiters, can work with managers to brand the company to candidates and help create better job descriptions.
