Job Description

 

The JDE Business Analyst is the liaison between end users and the JD Edwards Developer.  The analyst is responsible for knowing the functions of the ERP software and how it supports the end users.  The analyst will work closely with the JD Edwards Developers and to craft applications in response to regulatory requirements.  These individuals will provide functional JD Edwards support of daily efforts within department as well as guiding the JD Edwards Developers through a structured methodology to delivery enhancements/fixes over time.  It is highly preferred that they have industry experience.  Individuals must at minimum have some JD Edwards functional knowledge.

·         Liaison with JDE Developers to provide functional specs for enhancements/fixes.

·         Plans/writes test scripts and executes those scripts as part of a comprehensive Systems Test

·         Updates various systems documentation as final step in upgrade/deployment process.  The helps ensure other teammates can support the application in the event of turnover or job change.

·         Completes emergency support tasks to bring JDE Applications back online.

·         Completes a variety of project construction/testing tasks in support of major upgrades and large projects.
