We have a Job opening for LTE Lab and Production Testing Manager
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Position Description:
Technical Architect/Test Manager to support an AT&T LTE project defined in the key deliverables below. This position will follow the Network Technology Development (NTD) processes and be responsible for meeting these deliverables published in the project schedule plan of record.
Skills
- Candidate is knowledgeable in a wireless (voice, data & roaming services) and or wireline environment that includes the following:
a. Self motivated, ability to work with and communicate in cross functional teams, as well as individual responsibility
b. Working and coordinating with third-party vendors and partners
c. Understands network architectural design and development processes
d. Understands network lab and production testing
e. Flexible, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks
f. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with supporting, implementing and testing wireless services/applications such as the following:
- Voice (Send & Receive calls)
- Messaging (SMS, MMS)
- Data (Web Browsing)
- Roaming
- Experience with the following Microsoft Office products:
a. Word – complex documents
b. Excel – detailed forecasting / budgeting models
c. PowerPoint – high-level management status
d. MS Project – complex schedule creation
Key Deliverables:
- Develops lab test plans
- Develops lab test cases
- Coordinates all lab environments and activities (including troubleshooting, as required)
- Publishes lab test results
- Develops production test plans
- Develops production test cases
- Executes production testing and provides support
- Publishes production test results
Milestone 1 - due 03/01/13
Working with AT&T Willows (Redmond, WA) Lab Engineers, CTO Architects and Product Realization (PR) Engineers, candidate will complete the following tasks, deliverables, and documents:
1. Lab documents complete (Test Plan and Test Cases)
2. Lab environment complete (configuration updates done in Willows Lab)
3. Lab testing complete (in Willows Lab)
4. Lab tests results published
5. Methods & Procedures (MOP) generated for production network configuration – work orders tracked
Milestone 2 – due 05/31/13
Working with Network Operations Engineers, CTO Architects and Product Realization (PR) Engineers, candidate will complete the following tasks, deliverables, and documents:
1. Production Test documents complete (Production Test Plan and Test Cases)
2. Production environment complete
3. Production testing complete
4. Production tests results published
