Websphere Portal Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ months

Technical Lead/Architect
• 10 - 12+ years of IT Industry Experience
• Experience is leading an implementation of IBM Websphere
Portal end to end (Design through Launch)
• Expert in IBM WebSphere Portal/WCM Architecture,
Design, Development and Administration
• 5-7+ years of WebSphere Portal Development Experience
with hands-on experience in Portal 7.0
• 5-7+ years of IBM Web Content Manager Experience with
hands-on experience in WCM 7.0
• Expert knowledge of Java script, SQL, Theme and skins,
authentication filters , Personalization, Spring, Hibernate and Dojo
• Good knowledge of database designing, development and
query optimization
• Good knowledge of performance tuning, SVN, Maven, RAD
• Experience in website consolidation and migration to IBM
Webspere Portal
• Experience working with offshore development team
• Nice to have: Insurance client background
• Nice to have: Experience working with external site
design firm/agency
• Nice to have: Experience is proposal work (e.g. RFP,
proposal generation, effort estimations, presentation support)
