POSITION: QA Data Analyst with SAS experience

LOCATION: Schaumburg, IL

DURATION: 6 to 12 Months

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand full life cycle of data processing, from acquisition to integration to extraction

- Aggressively identify potential data quality issues

- Understand business and product needs

- Profile data; determine trends, patterns, inconsistencies; draw conclusions

- Pinpoint trouble spots in data and processes

- Work closely with cross-functional development teams to help establish and enforce data quality standards and documentation.

- Work on a consultative basis for new data sources and enhancement initiatives to help ensure consistency and implementation of best practices

- Prepare and analyze data presentations for both internal and external publication

- Fulfill ad hoc data analysis requests, devise and maintain various data mining studies and identify and implement improvements in QA processes as needed

 

MUST-HAVE SKILLS:

- MINIMUM 5 years experience in data intensive applications

- Strong experince in analysis of data for quality, inconsistencies, patterns, etc

- Experience with SAS is a MUST

- Experience with Excel's complex features

- Experience with other data management tools besides SAS and Excel

- Very strong SQL coding experience
