We have a requirement with our direct client for PeopleSoft upgrade consultant.

Position: PeopleSoft

Duration: 1+ year

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Responsibilities:

·         Upgrade of Oracle PeopleSoft and IBM Cognos environments. The anticipated timeline is September 2013 – February 28, 2015. Specific projects that make up this program include:

·         Upgrade PeopleSoft HRIS and Time and Labor from release 8.9 to 9.2

·         Upgrade PeopleSoft Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) from release 9.0 to 9.2

·         Upgrade of PeopleSoft Financials from release 9.0 to 9.2

·         Upgrade of People Tools from 8.49.28 to 8.53

·         Upgrade of hardware servers

·         Upgrade of Oracle database from 10g to 11g

·         Upgrade PeopleSoft EPM to Oracle 11g data warehouse

·         Implementation of IBM Cognos Analytics Applications

·         Implementation of IBM Cognos reports for HR and refresh of Finance reporting

Required Skills:

·         Proven experience in ERP program management

·         Number of years of experience in ERP program management

·         Proven experience in public sector PeopleSoft upgrade project management

·         Public sector PeopleSoft upgrade project management

·         PeopleSoft HR application upgrade project management

·         PeopleSoft Finance application upgrade project management

·         Experience in government organizations

·         Demonstrated experience building ERP project roadmap for organization

·         Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple PeopleSoft upgrade RFPs

·         Demonstrated experience reviewing existing interfaces as well as planning future interfaces between PeopleSoft applications and other applications within the organization

·         Demonstrated experience overseeing data cleanup and data archiving activities

·         Demonstrated experience dealing with project sponsors, steering committees or other governance bodies

·         Demonstrated experience planning ERP data warehouse and reporting projects

·         Demonstrated experience providing oversight to keep ERP projects on target, scope, cost and time

·         Demonstrated experience providing risk management and mitigation oversight for multiple projects

·         Demonstrated experience creating a comprehensive communication plan across multiple projects

·         Demonstrated experience making formal presentations to project sponsors, steering committee or other governance bodies

·         Demonstrated experience tracking and managing inter-project dependencies such that each project schedule can be met

·         Demonstrated experience ensuring project pain points or disconnects are turned into process improvement opportunities?

·         Demonstrated experience of building functional and highly effective project teams

·         Demonstrated experience of getting best value from vendors and ensuring they are meeting contract terms

·         Demonstrated experience in comprehensive knowledge of facilitation and organization change management.

·         Demonstrated experience in ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.

·         Demonstrated experience in ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.

·         Demonstrated experience in strong analytical and conceptual skills.

·         Demonstrated experience in ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed to meet objectives and solve problems that may involve elusive symptoms, often spanning multiple environments in a business area.

·         Demonstrated experience in management experience in one or more of the following areas:

·         Strategic planning, leadership and relationship management.

·         Program management efforts involving the coordination of resources and goals across multiple related projects

·         Leading multidiscipline, high-performance work teams.

·         Developing and monitoring delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.

·         Demonstrated experience in budgets, valuation and metrics development
