Role: Automation Tester with Selenium/Ruby Cucumber

Location : Richmond, VA & Wilmington, Delaware & Plano, TX

Duration: 6 Months

No of positions: 3

Rate: $40/hr (MAX)

 

JD remains same for all the 3 positions.

 

Experience in an Agile development life cycle (SCRUM, KANBAN)

Strong technical and Automation script development skills (VBScript, JavaScript, Ruby, QC API, TE API)

Experience with automating distributed systems, web technologies, web services, database systems, Windows tools and utilities and, Mainframe

Advanced knowledge of test automation tools(QTP, Selenium, HPST), frameworks, design approaches, and effective implementation techniques

Test automation experience in a ruby-cucumber environment and open source test tools (i.e. Selenium, Watir, Cucumber)

Experience in Cucumber, Selenium, Rspec, Ruby, Watir

Experience with automation suites, test harnesses, and frameworks.

Experience in successfully developing and executing automation tests including continuous integration and acceptance test driven development in an Agile environment.

Good understanding of software design and data structure/algorithms

Experience with SQL and UNIX (Linux preferred).

Experience in mobile testing and automation, with Selenium frameworks and Calaba.sh or Appium preferred.

Good understanding of programming languages like Java or C/C++

Knowledge of Ajax/DOM is desirable

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, multi-tasking, troubleshooting and decision-making skills.

Must be self-directed, detail-oriented and have excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Working knowledge of test methodologies processes and tools
