ERP Systems Developer / Application Development
MUST HAVE:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Programming or related field required
· Minimum 5 years experience with SQL
· Strong fundamentals with networking
· Taste for simplicity and elegance in technical design
· Appreciation for test-driven development and building software "the right way"
· Strong communication skills
· Collaboration & team building skills & interpersonal skills
· Proficient at grasping new technical concepts quickly and utilize them right away
NICE TO HAVE:
· Experience with 4D with solid programming experience
· Prior experience working in IT at a small manufacturing company (under 200 employees)
· Experience with at least one OO programming language such as .Net, Java, C# or C++
· MCSE certification
General Position:
Responsible for analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation for new and existing business application software, and production support for systems.
The incumbent must be capable of working at a broad technical level in all phases of the application systems project life-cycle, and must be able to apply business knowledge and technical skills to systems development.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Manages database and all technology systems, including maintenance of software and hardware, data access, security, backups, etc.
· Programs company database for maximum efficiency in performance and to meet company/departmental needs and educates and updates employees on all changes on an as needed basis
· Provides IT support for all company operations including inventory physical counts, scheduling, reporting, etc.
· The ideal candidate would be sharp, intelligent, have an aptitude for programming and an ability to see the big picture
