Position: Main Frame Tester with SVAM

Location: Greenville, SC

Duration: 3+ Months (3 to 6 Months)

Experience: 5-8 YEARS

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Minimum 8 years of specific Fidelity application expertise (IM, ST, FM, RM, AM)

·         Minimum 10 years Banking Technology experience.

·         Minimum 5 years QA experience including test case writing, traceability, test execution and defect management preferably within a banking environment.

·         Understanding of SDLC (waterfall approach) Documentation experience including use case writing, requirements writing and/or test strategy and plans.

·         Minimum of 5 years MVS mainframe with VSAM applications, TSO, File Aid, Easytrieve Minimum 3 years QC experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Mainframe Testing:

·         Test plan development, Test estimation, Optimum use of tools & techniques, Programming skills on Mainframe.

·         Basic concepts of testing, Test case development, Knowledge on Automation testing, Mainframe Online testing, Domain Knowledge helps in designing and writing the test cases.

Application Testing:

·         Should be able to differentiate the different testing phases like UnitIntegration, System, Acceptance, Regression testing.

·         Should be capable to perform these tests with the help of ready-test cases.

·         Should understand Test Plans, Requirement Traceability Matrix, and Orthogonal Array Tool.

·         Should be able to do metrics analysis and reliability analysis effectively with DFA tool.

Banking Domain:

·         Should have good functional understanding of Retail Banking or Corporate Banking or Investment Banking.

·         Should be able to define and document the process.

·         Should investigate the stated and unstated needs, document it and obtain sign off on business requirement.

·         Should be able to prepare Functional Test cases and assist in Functional Testing.

VSAM:

·         Basic Knowledge of VSAM Basic Syntax File Error handling Knowledge of VSAM file usage in the application program.
