Job title: Hadoop Developer 

Work Location: Erie, PA

Duration: 6 Months

Experience: 8-10 years

 

Mandatory Functional Skills: Manufacturing Domain

Mandatory Technical Skills:

Proven development and operational experience within Hadoop ecosystem (MapReduce, Hive, Oozie, Sqoop, etc.)  
Working Knowledge in SQL, Java, Linux shell Experience with HBase  
Proficient in Sqoop Commands, Hive  
Working knowledge in HVR, Sqoop, Hive connecting to HDFS.  
The Hadoop Developer will augment the Hadoop development team to port an existing file-processing application over to the Hadoop ecosystem.
The Developer will use Sqoop or HVR to pull data into HDFS.
This Developer will augment the Hadoop development to assist with Hadoop technical investigations, development and prototypes
Using Hive - the Developer is required to model the current data structure in Hadoop.

Desirable Technical Skills: Understanding of Complete Hadoop ecosystem and all commands of Sqoop , Shark and Spark

Desirable Functional Skills: Understanding of Sensor data
