Position: QlikView Developer / Analyst
Locaiton: NYC
Duration: 6 Months
The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced development environment. The Developer / Analyst will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for customers from the stage of Point f Concept?? to introducing new solutions into the business and business processes.
Responsibilities:
* Work closely with domain specialists to develop and present applications to the end-user
* Analyze business requirements;gather additional requirements as needed:meet and coordinate tasks with business users
* Develop, test, and implement new Qlikview dashboard reports or modify, test and implement current reports from many sources of data
* Set up enterprise standards for applications, metadata, data modeling, and data loading
* Write QlikView SQL scripts from multiple data sources
* Review QlikView error logs and provide daily production support and debugging server issue and implementing server upgrades
* Additional projects as assigned
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience; 5+ years with other BI tools including OBIEE , BW, Cognos etc
* 2+ years working experience with QlikView; 1+ years of QlikView dashboard design and 1+ years of QlikView scripting
* Solid understanding of QlikView hierarchies, architecture and best practices; QlikView Publisher,
* Ability to design QlikView data models for best performance9/10 sheet objects and understanding of available functions and properties
* Knowledge of Qlickview Macro language, Set Analysis and QlikView mobile application development preferred
* Experience with incremental data loads; optimization and tuning applications for maximum memory management; creating expressions using set analysis; application segmentation and document chaining; building a code reusability framework and application sharing
* Expertise in GUI design with QlikView to develop easy to use applications.
* Experience with QVD/QVW capacity plans and estimates
* Knowledge of SQL and PLSQL Scripting and Oracle database structures
* Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
* Strong analytical and communication skills both verbal and written
* Experience in the financial sector preferred
