Required Qualifications:
-Typically requires bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software and/or Computer Engineering or related field, and 10 to 12 years of related experience. (This could be less if they had the right experience.)
-Secret clearance must be currently held
-Extensive experience in ETL programming, data management, warehousing, and data mart development including technical development/design experience in complex systems and producing formal implementation plans.
-Minimum 5 years of experience developing with an ETL tool (IBM Data Stage, Informatica, Ab Initio, etc.).
-Minimum 3 years of experience in designing processes to migrate data from one environment to another.
-Minimum 7 years of experience using Oracle (Version 10g or higher).
-Solid understanding of data warehousing, dimensional, relational, and OLAP data modeling.
-Attention to detail and maintaining high data quality standards.
-Effective at working on small teams and ability to think logically and independently with strong analytical, research and problem solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
-Experience with XML data and data exchange implementations (especially the NIEM standards).
-Experience using Web services
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Experience with open source ETL tools such as Pentaho Kettle is a plus
