Installation, configuration and maintenance of databases
Logical and physical database design
Database performance monitoring, tuning, patching and troubleshooting
Database backup and recovery (experience with RMAN)
May act as technical lead on database and infrastructure related projects
Work closely with system administration and storage teams
Provide architectural recommendations to the IS team
Develop PL/SQL procedures to support business processes
Run scheduled jobs
Interest and ability in learning and applying new technologies and software packages.
Knowledge of XML and data transfers
