Duration: 6 Months+ / Interview: Phone screen then f2f

Rate: $48/hr

Basic Target – Mid to Senior Level SQL Programmer role, open to years of experience but typically 5-7 years. Advanced SQL Server, (2012), experience with large data sets (Architecture level), object oriented programming experience with (VB, VBA, or similar), Very strong communication skills, exp building enterprise applications to SDLC.

As a Senior Systems Analyst on the Business Optimization team, you will play a key role in providing Connolly's healthcare auditors a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

You will work with a team of skilled peers in a multi-terabyte data environment to write complex SQL statements, build and support applications, and facilitate advanced data mining. Your position on this team will afford you the opportunity to interact with data at every point in its lifecycle, work directly with end-users, and introduce innovations that directly affect the bottom line.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Build and support custom software solutions and analytics tools using Microsoft SQL Server, Access and Excel

Support existing SQL data warehouse(s) and build new data structures from the ground up

Spearhead recurring enhancements to code base and applications as business needs change

Serve as technical expert on all aspects of data & applications we support

Manage multiple priorities simultaneously, working towards successful and on-time completion of all projects

Maintain fluid communication with both technical and non-technical users

Requirements

8  years advanced, well-rounded Microsoft SQL Server development experience

7 years Object-oriented programming (preferably VBA, VB6 or .net) experience

5-7 years experience building enterprise applications in accordance with SDLC

Strong ability to gather & document requirements directly from business owners

Keen eye for process improvement

Ability to train and mentor associate level employees

Ability to lead self-directed and team projects with minimal oversight

Drive to take ownership and perform in a fast pace, competitive environment

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare data experience

Experience working with large datasets

Application developer or Development DBA experience

Microsoft Certifications (SQL Server or Office)
