Urgent REQ: JDA Logistics Procurement Technical Consultant -- Issaquah, WA

Need: JDA Logistics Procurement Technical Consultant

Location: Issaquah, WA         

Duration :6- 12 Months

 

Skills Set:

v  Technical and functional knowledge of Logistics Procurement.

v  Full understanding of JDA Logistics Procurement workflows: Operational & Financial cycle.

v  Software configuration, install, upgrade and patching procedure on Windows environment.

v  Good understanding of Carrier Rate Cards.

v  Good understanding of flat charge, per mile/weight, rates based on volumetric weight, accessorial charges, custom charges, etc.

v  Ability to perform data load of carrier data to JDA Logistics Procurement.

v  Need to have good communication skills as it is for a client facing role.

v  Experience with Oracle databases - SQL: queries, stored procedures.

v  Ability to analyze volume data, trend analysis.

v  Strong analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting skills.

v  Strong Communicator.

v  Ability to thrive in a fast-changing, dynamic environment.

v  Exhibit a commitment to customer service while building customer partnerships.

v  Strong consulting mindset, exceptional client interfacing skills.

v  Prior experience in leading implementation/support teams would be desirable.

v  Knowledge on other JDA modules would be an added advantage.

v  Knowledge on estimation techniques & presales experience would be desirable.

 

Qualification

v  An advanced degree (B.S. or B.E. Minimum, Masters preferred).

v  Expertise in configuring and customizing JDA Logistics Procurement.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

v  Experience with Oracle databases - SQL: queries, stored procedures.

v  Perform yearly/half-yearly bid process activities.

v  Understand carrier rate cards and enter the information in JDA tool.

v  Ability to generate forecast for the fiscal year, based on historical data of the lane usage.

v  Carrier selection.

v  Contract negotiation and management.

v  Take decisions independently and interact directly with customers.

v  Suggest and validate various solution options for the requirements.

v  Provide technical leadership in the development / implementation project.

v  Work with JDA support for product related issues.
