Position : Sr. FrontEnd UI Developer
Location : Philadelphia, PA
Duration : 6+ Months

 Main Skills:
1) Expert in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
2) Must have experience developing Full Stack JavaScript
3) Must be fluent in Git and Agile development workflows.
 
Responsibilities:
Rapid prototyping features for web apps, Maintain build process for front-end team, Create jQuery plugins & vanilla javascript modules, Will be working with multiple 3rd party APIs, Each plugin/module will be distributed and consumed using package managers, Create and maintain project style guides, in collaboration with designers, Updating legacy codebase to current standards
 
Looking for a candidate with a strong portfolio and a history of mastering new technologies.
 
Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance. Dev ops and workflow optimization are an important part of the position.
 
Education/Experience :
Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent training required
8-10 years experience required
 
Responsibility level :
Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor
Oversee execution of new features and products
 
Skills:
Mastery of Front-End technologies:
Expert level CSS (pre-processors such as LESS, SCSS, and PostCSS are used extensively in projects.)
Experience with OOCSS, SMACSS, BEM or similar conventions preferred
Experience with using and customizing frameworks such as Bootstrap and Foundation in large projects
HTML
Experience coding HTML emails preferred
Expert level JavaScript
Experience with ECMAScript2015 (ES6) preferred
Experience working with Node
Experience building and using workflows based on Grunt, Bower, Yeoman
Git based version control
Static site generation (Assemble, Jekyl, etc)
.NET experience a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required)
 
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media
Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem
Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or choose solutions
Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces
Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education
Maintain documentation and style guide for internally developed plugins and framework extensions
Collaborate independently with designers to devise, present, and implement creative solutions and complete designs
Site performance testing and optimization
