Job Title :           PHP Developer

Location :           New York City, NY

Duration :           6-12 Months Contract

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' work experience in developing web based applications primarily using PHP, JavaScript and SQL. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Develop and write clean PHP based applications 

Maintain existing codebases to include debugs and adding new features.

Interface with non-technical users troubleshoot problems

Balance a variety of concurrent projects.

 

Required Experience: 

Experience developing cross-browser front-end's using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Detailed knowledge of web application development and extensive experience using PHP and Javascript as well as relational databases such 

as MsSQL or MySQL.

Ability to work independently and contribute to new ideas required in a diverse, deadline-driven team environment.

Hands on experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery

Experience working with RESTful APIs 

Organization and analytic skills, with strong problem solving ability.

Good written and verbal communications skills.

Experience with version control systems

SharePoint and DBA knowledge is a plus.
