Key areas to this job: Data Analytics, some Data Modeling experience with using tools like Erwin as well as having experience with ERD (entity relationship diagrams). If we can find someone who also understands the financial services area or annuities area this would be a big plus.
Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analysis –
Responsible for direct interaction with the Business Consultants, DBA team and End User to gain a thorough understanding of the data being requested.
Data Modeling using tools like Erwin as well as having experience with ERD (entity relationship diagrams).
Responsible for mapping requested data fields from Third Party Systems to FGL data structures.
Responsible for the creation of data field conversions from Third Party Systems to FGL definitions.
Responsible for working directly with the third party data staff to develop the requested data interfaces.
Responsible for testing the data received from the Third Party Systems for accuracy of format and conversion definitions.
Responsible for providing production support for data when issues arise.

Experience and Education Requirements -
Bachelor's Degree
The person that holds this position must be both customer and results oriented.
Experience implementing and/or working with Meta Data a plus.
Two + years of experience with SQL Server 7.0 or higher.
Any annuities or financial investment services is a plus.
