Charter Communications is looking for 3 user experience designers (preferably middle to senior level, but will take a green person who is a high potential candidate) with strong interests and capability in the design and development of engaging user experiences. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, couple with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels are providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. This manager is looking for portfolios of previous work. 80% of work will be with the UX team, and 20% helping other teams! MUST HAVES: -5+ years of experience -Strong conceptualization ability, strong visual communication ability,  -Has worked under an agile environment and has done full application delivery cycle – research driven -Not a portfolio with mainly logos, or advertisements – PRETTY BOXES AND CIRCLES  -Strong working knowledge of, Illustrator, Sketch (software), Y frame (software), Axure (software solution that creates prototypes of websites and apps without coding) -Experience with Android or ios, some web experience  -Understanding of common software project management practices -Understanding of common software development practices -Online portfolio showcasing work PREFERRED: -Agency background  -Collaborating on user experience planning with a lead experience architect -Researching interaction design trends -Researching technology trends -Understanding of responsive design and interaction patterns
