Position : Project Manager with Healthcare
Location : Long Beach, CA
Duration : 8 Months

 

Need Locals to CA

DOMAIN: Healthcare.  Prefer candidates in the LA area.

 

Responsible for large scale, complex and/or long duration projects and project teams made up of internal and external resources to deliver business solutions and services to the department. Interacts closely with internal staff, external corporate departments, and Health Plans to define the project parameters and develop detailed project documentation to include business requirements, project plans, project schedules, workflow solutions, and project status reports/communications.

 

Projects may vary to include the following: system implementations, internal/cross functional department process improvement initiatives, implementation of new state health plans, and implementation of new product lines.

 

Experience in healthcare is a real must, especially in the healthcare haven worked on the 'Payor' side of healthcare.

 

They're a Microsoft shop so working with MS technologies is ideal.

 

Communication is very important will be working directly with business leaders, staff, IT teams and operations.

 

Culture is very important in that candidates must be team players, check egos at the door and not have a 'my way or the highway' mentality. This 'cultural' component is weighed as heavily as experience and technical skill sets.
