Need someone technically sound across all Operating Systems doing performance on various applications. "Ideal candidate" would have Dynatrace, JMeter, JProfiler, OEM, SQL Analyzer, Oracle, Windows, UNIX, Linux, multiple scripting languages, Mainframe and various distributed applications (mainly Java).
The Performance Engineer provides solutions around Platform automation, test automation, Data and Service Virtualization.
He/She will also work closely with Developers, Test Engineers, Business, Architects to provide the technical leadership, creating platform automation framework and test data management.
Primary responsibilities:
- Experience with Dynatrace, SQL Analyzer, OEM or Jprofiler
- Provide solutions for creating test data management framework
- Evangelize and create competency in service virtualization
- Provide the technical leadership for the Integrated Test environment team
- Provide Automation solutions for large scale projects from an end to end perspective including front end, middle tier services and back end data providers.
- Developing frameworks which promote: Maintainability, Flexibility, Extensibility and Scalability
- Must work great in a team and also as an individual contributor
- Provide governance for the infrastructure
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or closely related field) with at least 8+ years of experience
- Strong software development skills using Java and web application technologies in a service oriented architecture
- Strong database knowledge, preferably some DBA skills on either Oracle or DB2
- Experience in Server Side Java, J2EE, JSP/JSTL, Servlets, Spring, JAXB, JAX-WS, SQL, JUnit, and Tomcat
- Hands-on experience in ATDD/TDD methodologies
- Experience providing Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions using tools such as Jenkins & UDeploy, Maven
- Strong knowledge of database concepts
- Hands-on experience with HP LoadRunner is desirable
- Strong skills in development, including experience in Java, PL/SQL, Objective C
- Understanding of Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems, internet principles and statistical data analysis
- Knowledge of good coding practices and improving code quality
- Experience on Cloud Technologies is a plus
- Experience on Data Virtualization solutions like Delphix and Service Virtualization solutions like Virtualize is preferred
