Our project team is using Microsoft TFS 2016 (on premise version) for ALM. We are looking for help with the set-up, administration, and development of Agile-related reports to help track and manage the development work being coordinated in TFS.
The ideal candidate would be:
able to analyze, make recommendations, and implement TFS at an enterprise scale
knowledgeable with agile, msf, and waterfall project management concepts
able to support a program involving multiple projects by setting up and making project configuration recommendations to achieve desired management objectives
able to analyze and implement reporting requirements related to portfolio and individual project status
available to:
create adhoc reports using tsql and sql reporting services as needed
analyze challenges and implement improvements within core TFS components including but not limited to Sql Reporting Services, SharePoint, TFS item definition template, process templates, MSBuild and various automation efforts
analyze, recommend and implement ancillary 3rd party tools (Jira, Rally, automation tools, etc.) in conjunction with TFS to enhance overall ALM effectiveness
Must have familiarity with Agile/MSF/Waterfall methodologies and assets
3+ years MS TFS 2015+ (on prem) administration
3+ years custom scripting for MS Build and other automation tasks
3+ years custom TFS template creation/update/delete
3+ years creating custom/adhoc reports using SQL Server and Sql Server Reporting services (related to TFS reports a plus)
Knowledgeable with TFS SQL data schema
Knowledge and experience with MS AD security principles
Knowledge and experience with TFS reporting services
Knowledge and experience with PowerShell
Knowledge and experience of competing and ancillary tools such as Jira, Rally, and others a plus
Knowledge of TFS Online a plus
