Need guys who have worked on customer facing websites, gaming, ad technology, media companies…. They do not need all, but one of those and in the spec it references ad technologies. Those are plusses, not necessities. Looking for strong JavaScript, HTML5, Angular, React, JQuery
Job Description
Client is currently seeking a JavaScript Developer (Ad Tech/Media) to join our team in Jericho, NY. The JavaScript Developer will be responsible for the implementation and deployment of all third-party tags across PCH's family of sites. These tags include but are not limited to Google Analytics, Ad Tags (DFP, Header Bidding) and video ads using JWPlayer.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Implementation and rollout of new tags
Monitor and ensure the continued operations of all third-party tags
Work with Media teams to ensure all Display/DFP/Header ad tags are correct
Analyze tags provided by Media, Development and Compliance teams for accuracy
Monitor and provide reporting on implemented tags
Ensure that all compliance policies are being met
Provide best practices for tag implementation
Required Skills/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent and 5+ years related experience
2+ years ad-tech experience with expertise in VAST, VPAID and MRAID implementations
3+ years' experience in Javascript, HTML5
Experience using Tag Management Systems such as Tealium or Google Tag Manager
Experience with Google Analytics
Deep understanding of client-side development using HTML and JavaScript
A strong understanding of current Ad Technology including Header Bidding
Experience with Video Players such as JWPlayer
Experience with SOA applications and REST web services
Experience in and passion for web development and design
Proven ability to recognize and improve the holistic system, presenting and delivering methods to optimizing the entire platform over time and outside your immediate tasks
Experience or strong passion for executing in an agile development environment
Regularly delivers unique, innovative, and efficient solutions to business and technical problems
Proven ability to deliver effective, on-time results from an established set of tasks
Demonstrates excellent written and oral presentation skills
(Preferred): An interest in learning and assuming team leadership roles, particularly within agile frameworks
(Preferred): Experience with open source VCS and CI tools (Git, Jenkins)
