Java Programmer
Location: Melville, NY (Need in-person after telephonic)
Duration: Long-term
Java Programmer/Analyst with Oracle Application Server 9iAS/10g, Oracle 10G database, JSP, Java, JDK(1.5/1.7), J2EE, Servlets, JSP, JSP Custom tag libraries, JDBC, Struts1.1, iBatis (myBaties), Spring, AJAX, XML, Websphere8.5, RAD8.5, Dimensions, Oracle 11g. Will be responsible for upgrading current J2EE applications running on Oracle Application Server to WebSphere. Will also need to support enhancements to current applications.
1) Analyze impact and make changes to support the upgrade
2) Experience in using Dimensions, JUnit and Log4j
2) Experience in using iBatis, Struts and Spring framework
3) Create a design and implementation strategy to meet the requirements
4) Create program specifications consisting of data requirements, core module definition, use cases, web page wire-frame prototypes and site flow.
5) Experience with web application development supporting external facing applications
SKILLS:
1) Strong experience with JAVA/J2EE/AJAX, JSP Custom tags, Oracle DB Design, XML
2) Hands on Experience with Struts, iBatis and Spring framework
3) Experience in using Dimensions, JUnit, Ant, Log4j
4) Experience working with WebSphere and Oracle Application Server 9iAS/10g .
5) Experience in writing UNIX shell script
