CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH MS ACCESS CLEARLY LISTED IN THE RESUME.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: Support the business by providing technical and analytical support in the area of sales accounting as it relates to the new order management system. Work with project and finance functional teams to develop reconciliation tools. Work with the testing team to assist in testing the new tools and processes around them. The analyst must have a passion for identifying solutions that streamline processes, and delivering a high quality product that has flexibility for future enhancements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with Finance, Sales Audit team to understand the current processes, and where systematic vs manual tasks occur
Work with cross-functional agile project team (Finance, MGT) through work sessions to best determine the design and functional scope/requirements
Build project timeline based on requirement gathering
Work with technical teams to obtain the data feeds needed to perform reconciliation and reporting needs.
Develop MS Access Tables, Queries, Forms, Marcos, and VBA to perform reconciliation functions
Develop reporting, excel exports, and email notifications for payment and settlement
Partner with testing team to create and execute test scenarios and test scripts to ensure completeness in validation
Document process flows and work with the training group to provide details for end user training
Document proposed maintenance schedule for the database
QUALIFICATIONS:
An eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a passion to innovate
Ability to prioritize, manage time and meet aggressive deadlines
Strong time and project management skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation and facilitation abilities
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment and manage competing priorities
Ability to perform analysis and development of solutions to unique issues
In-depth knowledge of data flows and sources of significant management information
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BS/BA Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related degree
Exceptional knowledge of Access, Excel, and Financial accounting systems
Experience in trouble shooting, system testing and end-user support
