Full Stack Web App Developer -- McLean,VA -- 6+ Months

Location: MeLean,VA

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

The engineer will be required to work on building products using Java and AngularJS for a full stack web application development.

• Building two apps, 1 with backbone.js and one with angular.js, so candidates MUST have one or the other
• Full stack dev with Angular/backbone, Java/Spring and (ideally) Postgres or Cassandra on back end
• Anyone with AWS experience will go to top of list
• Need to be able to work in all 3 layers including persistent layer and have written code that talks directly to database

Technologies:
Data Engineering Skills:

" Java
" AWS
o SNS, SQS, Lambda
" Web Services

UI Development Skills:
" HTML
" AngularJS (version 2.0 or higher)
" JavaScript
" Spring Framework
" Java
" AWS Fundamentals
" Web Services

Required Skills:
" The candidate should have some experience with the AWS ecosystem. This includes the ability to architect solutions within the AWS ecosystem, and from a programming perspective it will be very helpful if they are familiar working with the AWS Java SDK. Additionally, AWS certification is preferred.
" Experience with enterprise application design on previous projects would be nice to have.
" Should be able to communicate/work with users and their use cases and be able to translate their business needs into development ready requirements.
" The candidate should be well versed with the API/Micro services architecture and be able to build rest API services
