Role: Cloud Architect
Location: Dallas, TX
Project Length: Long Term
Main Duties &Responsibilities:
- Azure Architects - both software and infrastructure experience for laaS,PaaSand SaaS. Leading and designing for the large scale migration from on-prem the cloud.
- Setup Azure platforms to meet business requirements, and in accordance with industry best practices, client standards, and NYC Citywide security policies.
- Setup secure and highly available Azure platform
- Setup Automated deployments
- Work collaboratively as a member of the development team to build best-in-class .NET software solution
- Involvement in requirements discussions, project planning and in the system design and implementation.
- Provide technical expertise, estimates, and recommendations to the Development Lead and/or Project Management.
- Communicate risks and issues to the Development Lead and/or Project Manager.
- Create Cl/CD Pipeline
- Create documentation such as: Technical Design, Security Accreditation, Run book etc Mandatory
- Scaling/High Availability/Disaster Recovery
- Security/IAM (Active Directory, MFA, ADFS)
- Cl/CD, DevOps automation (i.e. AKS, Terraform, Docker)
- Monitoring (i.e. Azure Monitor, 3rd party), Big data/Al/ML, Scripting (i.e. PowerShell)
- Solutions Architect Certification (preferred)
