Job Summary:

The Portfolio Delivery Metrics team is seeking an experienced and resourceful Senior Data Visualization Analyst to work in a fast-pace highly visible role.  The candidate will work closely with the Agile Managers, Business  PMOs, Technical Teams and Analysts to analyze and validate data requirements, assist in data discovery, build test datasets, document data flows and transformations and help in quality assurance activities such as writing test cases, test scripts and conducting system entry assessments.  Must be analytical, detail oriented, and possess desire to advance and grow personally and professionally.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of industry experience in a Data Visualization Analyst role
• Experience creating wireframes/designing interactive Virtual Dashboards - (no programming)
• Experience in developing Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
• Must have strong consultative, analytical and problem-solving skills
• A solid understanding of metrics and analysis to deliver on business objectives
• Expertise in using MS SQL and other data access / browsing tools
• Proficient in using MS Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables)
• Ability to write complex queries using multiple data sources
• Knowledge of at least one statistical analysis tool (i.e. Python, SAS or R)
• High level of competency in data manipulation and analysis:  accessing raw data in varied formats with different methods and analyzing and processing data
• Experience in data profiling methods and methodologies - - Able to look at numbers, trends and data patterns and provide insight recommendations
• Data modeling experience and normalization
• Accustomed to looking through data tables and SQL logic, documenting data flows and discerning data patterns and identify anomalies
• Willingness and ability to suggest areas of improvement
• Must be detail-oriented with ability to multi-task and effectively handle changing requirements
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Experience using Tableau or other Data Visualization tools preferred
• Experience with the Selected Agile Framework (SAFe) a plus
• Proficient in using JIRA and supporting data tables a plus
• Proficient in using CA Clarity and supporting data tables a plus
• Experience working with Entity Relationship Diagramming for Data Modeling a plus
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or other related discipline

Job Responsibilities:

• Must learn Scaled Agile (SAFe) to understand the way the teams and product owners operate, and their requirement needs to develop insightful metrics and visualizations
• Work along aside the Portfolio Delivery Metrics Manager in providing KPI's and insightful and informative metrics via dashboards to enhance operational efficiency, transparency and communication over the Sales Agile Transformation rollout
• Solicit metrics requirements from the Product Managers and Owners, Portfolio Delivery leadership and Technical Teams to identify key metrics supporting Portfolio Oversight, Technical Health, Demand Management, Capacity Management, Governance, Behavioral and other key metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional and partner stakeholders to collect and analyze data to develop actonable data insights and recommendations
• Participate in visioning sessions to create UI/UX visual wireframes, sketches and design specifications based on requirements
• Document detailed technical and business requirements as well as UX-focused stories for the Agile Development teams
• Perform data profiling and data analysis activities
• Develop workflows and queries to obtain data required for dashboard development
• Analyze data and document transactional and reporting data elements from internal data sources (JIRA, Clarity, Confluence, etc)
• Leverage Objective & Key Results (OKR) framework to help identify key metrics and performance through dashboards and ad hoc analysis
• Evaluate existing reporting to identify opportunities to automate
• Help to develop reconciliation and/or control jobs to assist in data quality and testing
• Create test scripts for the data visualizations - perform QA testing and document data anomalies

Perform other related duties as required by management
