Title:  Network Engineer
Location: Long Island City, NY
Duration: 18 months+

Candidate must have a bachelor degree in computer related discipline or Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Candidate must possess strong experience in key network technologies and protocols such as IP routing, LAN switching, T1/EVPL circuits, Network Security/Firewall, Wireless 802.11 A/B/G and Network Management.
Candidate must have hands-on experience in Cisco routers, Catalyst switches, PIX firewalls, Cisco wireless access point, network sniffer and network management solution.
Candidate must have experience in proactive network support, network architecture and design, network solution development, troubleshooting, executive escalation, technical documentation and communications skills.
Candidate must be proficient in English and be able to communicate effectively with other technical staff
IP routing:  EIGRP, RIP
Cisco Routers:  7200,2800
LAN Switching:  VLAN, VTP, Spanning-tree, Link Aggregation
Catalyst Switches:  6500, 4500, 3750, 3550, 3560
Security:  PIX Firewall, URL Filtering, Intrusion Prevention, Sniffer, Layer 2 Security features
Wireless:  WPA2, Cisco, Access Point, Access Control Server
