LOCATION: NJ

DURATION: 6+ MONTHS.

-The successful candidate will be working on a Prime Services Margining system. This involves dealing with multiple margin methodologies like Reg-T, Reg-U, NYSE Portfolio Margining and House based Hedge Strategies.
* The candidate is expected to build an in-depth knowledge of both the technical and business aspects of the system and become an expert.
* The candidate needs to be a strong hands-on Java/Oracle or Sybase Senior Developer who has dealt with complex data intensive systems.
* Apart from project work, the candidate will be involved in a second line of production support, interact with users and be able to work on multiple tasks.
Job Requirements:
* Minimum domain experience of 4 years in the Securities Industry and involved with Middle and Back Office Processing. Experience in the area of Margin and Collateral processing will be an advantage.
* Strong J2EE application development experience.
* Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design with a broad understanding of software design patterns
* Strong PLSQL, Oracle or Sybase Database Skills with Linux/Unix Shell scripting.
* Experience with Web technologies(XML/XSL/SOAP/Hibernate/Spring) is essential.
* Knowledge of Adobe flex, JMS, ETL Informatica, Tibco Business Works, Tangosol and VBA is a plus.
